The Irish Fairy Door Company are an Irish company who help fairies relocate in homes and gardens all over the world through their fairy doors. I have watched the rise of this company over the last three or so years and two fairy doors hang in two bedrooms upstairs. The provide a little bit of magic and I am all for a little bit of magic in a child’s life. The Irish Fairy Door Company don’t just sell the gorgeous fairy doors, they offer fairy registration, they send newsletters and their website provides fairy facts and activities. I was always impressed by the full magical service they provide and from the fact they give a lot back to local communities too. As a company they seem a little bit magical themselves.
This year they have introduced a new product to the Irish Fairy Door Company- the Worry Plaque.
It’s an interactive worry plague, the child places their hand on the plague and tells the fairies their worry, the plaque glows red when the child hands touches it and when the fairies hear their worry and take it away, it turns green and their worry is gone. Magic.
I received one for one of my daughters but I can see all of my children using it. Sometimes even after talking about things they can still be worried about something small, especially at night time. I really think this will help especially with my six-year-old and her small worries that seem huge in her six-year-old world. I am all for a small bit of magic in everyday life and encourage it, greatly. We all need a bit of magic.
The Worry Plaque is on sale now and retails at 34.95 on the Irish Fairy Door Company site or from any of their stockists. As well as the plague, all Worry Plaque owners also get access to a collection of positive affirmation videos on the Irish Fairy Door website about common childhood worries.
